Tamir Baatarjav

Tamir Baatarjav is a PhD candidate in the Physics department of the School of Arts and Sciences, National University of Mongolia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Business School of National University of Mongolia and a Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from National University of Mongolia.

Currently, he is an assistant professor and researcher at the NUM-ITC-UNESCO Remote Sensing and Space Science laboratory at the National University of Mongolia. He is actively participating in various space and astronomical outreach activities. His research interests include small satellites, Exoplanets and Astronomical image classification using deep machine learning.
