Research Chair on Nanosatellite Development, School of Sciences and Aerospace Studies, Moi University, Kenya
Daniel Odido leads the Research Chair in Nanosatellite Development in Moi University. The Chair is developing a nanosatellite to be used for monitoring of land use and atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration. Daniel is an alumnus of National Aviation University in Ukraine where he obtained a MSc in aeronautical engineering (Mechanical). He has taught and carried out research in universities in Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa. He also has served as Head of the Department of Flying Studies in the School of Aerospace Science of Moi University. His current research is in the application of computational fluid dynamics in the study of boundary layers. He is also interested in applications in Energy and Environment.
