Dr Messaoud Bensaada

Dr. Messaoud Bensaada received the title of engineer degree from the Department of Electrical engineering, University of Science and Technology, Oran, Algeria, in 1992 and 1997, MS. Degree from Centre of Space Techniques, Oran, Algeria in 2007 and the Science Doctorate degree from the Department of Electrical engineering, University of Science and Technology, Oran, Algeria, in 2016. From 1998 to 1999, he was a Mathematics teacher in Ibn Badis College, Oran, Algeria. From 2000 to 2004, he was an electrical engineer in Mainsoft Company, Oran, Algeria. From 2006 to 2007, he was an electrical engineer in Algerie Poste Company. Since 2007, he had been with a Department of Space Instrumentation, Centre of Space Techniques, Oran, Algeria, where he was an Assistant research. Since 2012, he has been a Director of Power System laboratory in the Department of Research in Space Instrumentation, Algerian Space Agency, Centre of Satellites Development (CDS).
His research interest includes spacecrafts onboard power system, especially spacecraft electrical engineering, solar panel and battery design. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 papers in peer reviewed journals. He served as a project lead of a power system design for cubesat and microsatellite (Alsat 1B project), "Space power systems module, Radiation monitor" , involved in another project "Space Propulsion controller –". He has a good hand in Electrical design and space PCB hand soldering.
