Fred Joe Nambala

Fred Joe Nambala is a lecturer, and researcher, of physics at the University of Zambia (UNZA) under the School of Natural Sciences since 2010. He teaches analogue and digital electronics in the department of physics. He is a PhD (a.b.d) in Physics candidate at the University of Pretoria under the supervision of Prof Mmantsae Diale. His thesis is on inversion layer solar cells development and fabrication with concentration on device physics. He holds master's degrees (1) in physics (University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa) and also (2) in space management (International Space University, France). He obtained a BSc Honours degree in astrophysics and space science from the University of Cape Town in 2006. He graduated with a BSc in Physics in 2005 from UNZA. He serves as patron of ZUSSART, an aerospace systems club at UNZA for science and engineering students. He is currently a member of the national space science programme of the Zambian government.
